پاک‌آیین: حماس با خلع سلاح موافقت نکرده است/ اداره غزه یک موضوع داخلی فلسطین است

A retired diplomat told the Labor News Agency (ILNA): "In my opinion, the nature of Trump's peace plans is belligerent. He first threatens, then announces that the option of war is on the table, and finally says if you don't want war, let's negotiate, and he specifies in advance what the outcome of the negotiation will be. Therefore, I believe that Trump is not a man of negotiation. Even if he moderates his belligerent approach, he is still not a man of peace and diplomacy."
Regarding the US President's expression of interest and the response of our country's Foreign Minister to these statements, Mohsen Pakayin, former Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, said: "Usually, Mr. Trump expresses his wishes loudly. Experience has shown that he is not sincere and unreliable in the words he speaks. He is desperately trying to repair his image, which was severely damaged during the Zionist regime's genocide in Gaza."
He added: Trump has been the main supporter of the Zionist regime in its aggression against Gaza and genocide and has been introduced as a warmonger. He has tried to repair his image with some measures such as the Gaza peace plan or the Caucasus peace plan. This is known to us.
Regarding Trump's statements regarding Iran, he said: Trump also expressed his heartfelt and real interests during his speech in the Israeli Knesset. He says that we are negotiating with Iran and are ready to reach an agreement that if Iran accepts, we will reach an agreement with it. Of course, there is a condition; first, the issue of recognizing the Zionist regime and second, the issue of not supporting the axis of resistance or shutting down the nuclear programs.Trump is determining the outcome before entering into negotiations with Iran, and this is unacceptable for Iran. Not accepting the Zionist regime is one of Iran's principled positions and stems from the beliefs and principles enshrined in the constitution, and supporting the axis of resistance is one of our main foreign policy programs. Regarding the right to enrich uranium, we will never accept this and we will not stop our plans. Trump usually makes noise and demands results from negotiations with Iran that Iran does not accept. The Sharm el-Sheikh summit was also a propaganda discussion for Trump to introduce himself as the master of the world and satisfy his personal shortcomings by gathering a number of heads of state and then creating a show. There was no achievement in this summit and the implementation of the peace plan depends on the way Israel approaches and fulfills its commitments.
Pakayin raised the issue that sometimes when we talk about diplomacy, it is thought that diplomacy is only related to the United States or 3 European countries, and stated: America has completely brought diplomacy to a standstill and stopped it. So what plan can our Foreign Ministry have with America? The diplomatic apparatus showed flexibility and participated in five rounds of negotiations with America in Oman, which did not yield any results and led to the aggression of America and Israel against Iran.
He continued: 3 European countries have also practically stopped the door to diplomacy with Iran by activating the trigger mechanism or the will they currently have for it. Iran negotiated until the last moment and was willing to provide the necessary guarantees if they were truly concerned about Iran’s nuclear programs.Stating that we have spent a lot of energy on the United States and Europe.

This international affairs analyst clarified: In my opinion, from now on, the main program of the foreign policy apparatus should be focused on other countries that are our friends and share a common vision. During the sanctions period, these countries cooperated with us and are ready to ignore the resolutions that will probably return to the Security Council and cooperate with us. Islamic and neighboring countries and powers such as China and Russia should be focused on so that serious work can be done with these countries.
He added: Secondly, we should cooperate with regional and international institutions that can secure our interests. Although some steps have been taken in this regard, I think we should spend some of our energy that we spent on negotiating with the United States and three European countries on these countries from now on.
In response to the question whether you think Mr. Trump wants to be a war president or a peace president, the former Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan said: "I believe that the nature of Trump's plans is war-mongering. First he threatens, then he announces that the option of war is on the table, and finally he says if you don't want war, let's negotiate."
